The company is a stepping stone to something better and I enjoyed my time there, but there really are other companies that will offer more Big names in the company left or got pushed out by Kareo and it felt like the CEOs are just in the backseat while Kareo made the decisions for the company With Kareo taking over, it really feels like PatientPop got acquired than merged. This has caused so much frustration and churn for so long that everyday the CSMs had to deal with an insane amount of escalations that we got burnt out This continued for so long and I'm still hearing from old coworkers that it's still happening to this day. Last year in June, the company went through a billing system change which affected so many customers being double charged or it delayed their billing so they would get hit with a huge charge all at once. You will have to grab tickets from a queue to respond to and be active to taking incoming calls from upset customers which is not what a real CSM should be doing After over a year, that never happened until close to when I left, despite all the work we were doing for the company which felt underappreciated. When I interviewed, one of the managers said how great PatientPop was for giving their employees a day off to recharge them for all the hard work they did. Those who did try to ask for a raise or inquire how to increase their salary were either given a no or avoided provided a real answer. You can definitely earn more from other companies with much less of a workload.
